In 2008 my parents sat me down at thanksgiving and asked how I was going to make money for my missions trip. I prayed and I felt god told me to do the Holly Days craft show at Sanderson. Little did I know that the Craft Show was in 1 week. Usally when you sign up for the Holly Days craft show you sign up in at least 13 months notice. But I felt that is what God wanted me to do. So my parents and I emailed the coordinator and asked for a spot in the craft show. she didn't email back so we re-emailed the coordinater and she emailed back and said all the spots were taken, but she would email us if a spot opened up. We kept on emailing her and every time it was a "no". By this point it was Tuesday and set ups were on friday. But we belived we should follow god so we went ahead and invested in $200 worth of supplies for crafts! then i had to visions from god 1. our both was FLOODED with people and 2. my mom was checking her email. I stayed home from school thursday and worked on more crafts. That night (thursday) after all the kids had gone to bed (including me) my parents recived an email saying "the lady that runs both 112 has struck a 103 degree fever and can not make the craft show!!!!" yea GOD! I stayed home again friday and went and set up my both Friday and over saturday and sunday we made enough money for my plane ticket and part of my dads!!! We made $2,698 and the people next to us made $99! Then after the craft show was over we kept on getting orders for more crafts! we ended up making enough money for my dad and I both to go to guatemala!!!! in 2009 my dad and I went to Guatemala on a missions trip!

Adoption

For those of you who didn't know, I have 3 siblings. 2 of my siblings are my biological siblings. 1 is adopted from Guatemala. Just because he is adopted doesn't mean hes not as special as my other siblings. A lot of people ask me "Are you his real sister?" you know what I say. I say "Yes, yes I am his real sister." Because my relationship with Jonathan (my adopted brother) is just as real as my relationship with my other siblings. It is different if they ask "Are you his biological sister?" then I say "No, but I am definitely his real sister" Now my family is in the process of adopting another child from Ethiopia! So if you are wondering Jonathan is just as much a part of our family as my other siblings. Jonathan and I are "Buddies" ;)
